Kirk Everist, Austin College Assistant Professor of Communication led a group of wanna-be film makers in releasing their creativity Tuesday evening in the first Script to Screen workshop. Dr. Everist helped the group turn on their imagination, in addition to speaking on the bones of script writing.

The workshops are offered as an aid to those planning to enter the 24 Hour Script to Screen Short Film Contest sponsored by Sherman Arts Festival. Attending is not a prerequisite for entering the competition.
On August 20, another session will be held, led by Dr. Brent Boessen. To register, go to http://www.24hourscript2screen.org.
